digital learners

i've been in conference-debrief-process mode ever since returning from Orange and The Gathering. so many ideas, so little time. we're moving forward on a whole heap of initiatives, mainly due to the space and clarity we had while away, and MAINLY due to god's spirit leading and guiding. so, that's good. i'm super anxious to share with you what's in the works for the upcoming year at Willow Chicago -- but, for now, patience my precious. let's just say it's about CURRICULUM and TRAINING and FAMILY CARE and PARENTING and AWESOMENESS.

as we've been making plans and brainstorming and moving everything awesome forward, i've been constantly referering to this gem of a note from my pal matt's workshop on digital learners that i attended during the Gathering. the kid is smart. BIG TIME. below are my hand-written notes from his class. all of this has been a roadmap as we're working to create custom curriculum for our diverse, multi-cultural context. oh shoot. cat's out of the bag. #citykidmincurriculum
